We would also like to congratulate the TSA Studio Orchestra for an outstanding performance at the OMEA State Orchestra Adjucations on Saturday, March 4th, 2006.The Studio Orchestra earned an overall “superior” rating with unanimous “superior” ratings from all fours adjudicators. This is the third consecutive year that TSA has earned unanimous “superior” ratings, and this was only the third time that TSA has attended the OMEA State Orchestra Adjucation. A compliment of over 50 strings, winds, and percussionists represented the TSA Studio Orchestra at the event held at Sandusky High School. The ensemble drew praise for its outstanding preparation and overall excellent musical expression. The event included a “sight-reading” session in which the students and conductor had six minutes to silently prepare a brand new work and perform it in one take for an adjudicator; this test of musical proficiency was included in their overall rating. The TSA Studio Orchestra has previously performed at Citifest, Walt Disney World, and Studio Series and Mainstage events at TSA.   The ensemble is one of several instrumental groups scheduled to compete in the “Music In The Parks” Festival in May of 2006.

Congratulations to all TSA Musicians on yet another demonstration of your skills and talent!
