TSA Theatre Shines at Ohio State Thespian Conference

Senior Thespian Troupe 6793 headed to Dayton March 30th-April 1st for the Ohio State Thespian conference.  Rosie Best was invited to bring the production The Heidi Chronicles to perform at the conference, so cast and crew along with a truck full of props and scenery headed down also.
Rosie presented two workshops and Rob Koenig judged a round of individual events.  TSA students showed their many and varied talents by recieving recognition in many areas of competition.

Rob Wieland 1st in lighting design
Natasha Jones 3rd in costume design
Jake Spencer  1st in playwright
Julie Martoncik  3rd in solo mime
Britney Dudley and Leah Markely 2nd in duet mime
Shea Phillips competed at state level in solo musical and Kristen Urbanski and Tori Sullivan also were finalist in Duet Acting.
 
Natasha Jones was selected to be a State Student officer for the 07-08 school year.  She was also recommended for Iternational Thespian Conference (June 25-July1) as was Neil Powell.
 
Kristen Urbanski auditioned for 10 colleges and received call backs from eight of them.
 
The Heidi Chronicles received a standing ovation after performing to a full auditorium. A great time was had by TSA students, staff and chaperones
