TSA Academic Studies

TSA takes pride in its accomplishments, both in the arts and in academics. In 2006 and 2007 the Ohio Department of Education rated TSA's academic performance as 'Excellent', which is the highest mark issued by the state. Our academic faculty work very hard to develop curriculums that not only meet or surpass ODE standards, but they also strive to incorporate the arts into their instruction. Students may encounter some of the following activities as part of their academic studies: field trips to the Toledo Museum of Art; design projects; video or recording projects; reenactments; mock trials; lyric or music composition; creative writing; and many other endeavors that our insightful faculty envisions for their students. While the artisitic influences in a project may stimulate students' creative interests, the course projects also require traditional research and must meet strict academic standards. Ultimately TSA students receive an invigorating academic experience.

TSA is also a proud participant in the academic Quiz Bowl competitions where our students compete against students from other schools located throughout the greater Toledo area. Students who wish to participate in Quiz Bowl should see Mr. Burchett.
