TSA Dance Department
TSA's Dance students have enjoyed notable success, both while at TSA and after graduation. Many of our top dance students have earned scholarships to prestigious programs throughout the country, others have enjoyed success as young professionals in dance companies and touring venues. TSA's dancers recently received recognition at the national Co-Dance competition.
TSA's dance program allows students to explore multiple styles while emphasizing form, creative expression, and frequent recitals and live performances. Dancers may perform as soloists, small groups, or entire ensembles. They will explore traditional, contemporary, and ethnic variations.
Talina Tolson is the head of the Hajera Dance Collective which explores cutting edge ethnic and expressive dance forms. Students also get to work with Mrs. Kerri Wilde who has an extensive dance background and previous involvement with the Toledo Ballet, and Mr. Michael Lang who has a distinguished career in dance.
