Randy Sobel has been playing guitar since he was 13, and has been teaching guitar, bass, and mandolin for over 20 years. Randy has played in numerous local bands including Equinox, Jump Start, The Rize Band, and East River Drive. He also gives private lessons at Valley Music in Maumee, where he does instrument repairs and sales.
His current band, East River Drive, has played numerous benefits to help several good causes. He also recently played guitar on the Mitch Albom radio show.
Randy was recently nominated for the Disney Teacher of the Year Award. His students all agree that his wit and humor make his classes fun and meaningful.
