Rachel comes to TSA with a long and varied career in education and teaching. She received her degree in Fine Arts from Alfred University, New York State College of Ceramics. She also is a certified teacher and ceramic artist, with an emphasis on hand thrown vases and functional pottery. Rachel also served as an art teacher at the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester (White Plains, NY.). Prior to this she was a student teacher at the Hornell Intermediate School, the Wayland-Cohochton High School, and served as Assistant Director of Ceramic Arts at Breezemont Day Camp. Rachel has also studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and at the Bezalel Academy Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
