Born in San Diego, California and raised in Elkhart, Indiana Scott graduated from Ball State University with a major in photojournalism and minors in archaelology and anthropology. He has lived and photographed life in Haiti and Ghana. An award-winning photographer for newspapers in Ohio and Indiana, Scott also worked as a free-lance photographer for various news organizations. As a graduate student at the University of Toledo he traveled throughout the Southern U.S. photographing people and places related to Civil Rights History. Scott moved into the world of education as an instructor of Computer Education in Toledo where he specialized in Technology Integration & Lesson Development for eight years. He and his wife Cheryl are busy raising two boys.
