Monika Ortiz Schroeder is the proud mother of three wonderful sons, Corbin, Dylan and Hadyn, and the happy wife of Robert Schroeder. Mrs. Schroeder keeps herself busy as a part time chauffer from one athletic/artistic event to another with her three active boys. She is a volunteer with her church, her children’s school and her community. In her spare time, Mrs. Schroeder can be found on a soccer field, softball diamond, tennis court, or golf course.

Mrs. Schroeder graduated from Owens Community College with an Associate Degree in Office Administration with High Honors in 1997. Upon graduation, she began employment with the La-Z-Boy Incorporated corporate offices in Monroe, Michigan.

After reviewing many options, she decided the benefits that Toledo School for the Arts provided were just too enticing to pass up. She has been employed with TSA since November of 2000 and has reveled in the new experiences and many challenges that work in a community school environment has provided.
