Monthly menus can be found here. Printed copies are also available at the front office and posted on various bulletin boards. TSA uses Offer vs. Serve in the Flying Pig. This means that students are offered 5 items for a full lunch consisting of meat, grains, vegetable, fruit and milk. The students must take at least 3 of the 5 items in order for the lunch to meet Federal guidelines. One of the items must be a fruit or vegetable. Breakfast is similar in that students need to take at least 2 of the items being offered, with one being fruit.
Student lunches, including milk or water, cost $2.75. Student breakfasts, including milk & juice, cost $1.50 and will be offered before school from 7:30 until 8:00 a.m. A la carte items are also available for an additional charge. Selections vary based upon availability.
Need to apply for free or reduced lunches? You can apply here.
We encourage students to pre-pay their meal accounts through the front office. We accept cash or checks made payable to TSA. Please be certain to include your student’s name with payment. Students’ ID cards have a barcode which will be scanned at the register to access their account. The amount of purchase will be automatically deducted from their balance. Cash or check payments are also accepted in the Cafe line if necessary. You can also add money online here.
The cashier will make every effort to verbally inform students of low balances in line. However, we do have a system which allows us to send weekly notifications of low balances via email. If we did not collect your email address at schedule pickup and you would like to be included in this program, please send a note in to the office with a current email address. Parents are also able to log on to view their student’s account activity. There is a link for this program here. Please be aware that the lunch account balance is only kept in the cafeteria software. Lunch balances will not be listed in Powerschool.
