TSA Parents' Organization
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
There is no Parent's Org meeting for August. The next Parents' Org meeting will be on Tuesday, September 16th at 6pm in the Flying Pig Cafe.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The Parents' Organization "shall promote consistent and effective communication between parents, teachers, friends, administrators and students of TSA; encourage volunteerism by parents in both the educational process and school activities, and aid teachers and administrators by supporting the educational and artistic programs, activities and special events at TSA."
ORGANIZATION:
The Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Focus Leaders) oversees, directs and approves the business of the Organization and the general membership. Individual Focus Leaders serve as the liaison between the Organization and faculty members in the music, theater, dance, visual arts, and academic areas. Leadership is elected annually. The Parents' Organization is a separate not-for-profit Ohio Corporation.

MEMBERSHIP:
All adult members of families with children attending TSA are eligible to become members and may participate in the activities and elections of the Organization upon the payment of $20.00 annual dues and the completion of the membership application.
MEETING TIMES:
PO meetings are open to members and non-members. The Organization meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:00pm at TSA, in the school cafeteria (basement level).

FUND-RAISING:
Parents’ Organization fund raising includes funds raised through concession stand sales at Mud Hens games and Kaleidoscope raffle. The Organization does not raise funds through the sale of magazines, candy, wrapping paper or fruit. Funds raised through the parents’ organization support school activities.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
The Parents' Organization coordinates the volunteer efforts of the parents at TSA. Volunteers are needed to run the Organization, participate on project, as well as participate on committees of the TSA Board of Directors. Parents are always needed to teach special skills, chaperone at school events, drive to outings, help teachers, make telephone calls, complete paper work at the school office, work on School construction projects, and participate in fund-raising events. Mud Hens Games – May thru August; parents and students are invited to come out to the ball park and support TSA by working a booth at the Mud Hens Games. You would be surprised how much fun it is! Find out more here.
